Philips got in touch and said they wanted to connect with younger audiences and drive appeal of the OneBlade.

So, I created the communication strategy and campaign idea for them. Working with the client and internal stakeholders, I created and ran a session and identifying the different ways brands are showing up in gaming. With that in mind, we concluded how Philips should play.

Showing up authentically, improving the game for players, and giving them a platform to express themselves.

With that direction, I developed a concept around a "Capture The Flag" style game, where player's compete to capture the only OneBlade on the map, gaining a cutting edge on their other players when they were in possession of hallowed razor.

Through a partnership with Metavision, we executed on the Wolves vs Chickens map on Fortnite, and worked alongside streamers @Strippin and @Samham on Twitch to battle it out — with the loser having to shave on-stream with the OneBlade.

With millions of views, thousands of integrations, and a smooth faced Twitch streamer at the end of it — this firmly cemented Philips in gaming audiences minds. Keep your eyes peeled for what's coming next...
